Organizational management

There are many structural systems that can be put in place by organizations in averting the risks of bureaucracy. Basically, human asset rests on the minds of all individuals who work in any organization. In this regard, the management should have a system that allows exchange and creation of new business ideas that may result to value added services or products. This is as an important form of a communication system that integrates all employees in the daily operations of the organization. A business organization prevents the development of bureaucracy if it has in place an effective structural approach that is geared at transferring and accessing of ideas, information and decisions among all its workers.

Every business organization has its goals on staying relevant and competitive in a business environment. For this to happen, it is important for businesses to move away from hoarding important information by developing effective systems of information sharing. This strategy is important as it guarantees a more viable strategy of managing intellectual capital. It is important to understand that if managed well, intellectual capital supersedes financial resources or physical management processes. However, an organization will be forced to learn and develop new ways through which information can be achieved, coded and eventually be disseminated to the right departments. This business competency can only be adopted if a business has regular and effective training and development programs.

In addition, organizations seeking to effectively manage human knowledge as a resource should have working procedures or processes installed for that very purpose. These processes or procedures will help in creating, harnessing and protecting important business knowledge among its people. More importantly is that an organization should develop strategies that ensure such processes are clearly articulated and communicated among the employees through programs or initiatives. However, for this business strategy to be fully effective there is a need of creating an enabling environment that will freely allow employees to discover and share information.  Bureaucracy will be completely eliminated by planning and building an environment where skills and competencies are managed within the organization.

An organization is assumed to be in a state of decline when it is facing such major challenges such as its decrease in quality and significance to its members or its target consumers. Typically there are two major options for any organization that enters into a state of decline or decay. The first main option is exiting from its core functions in the market and completely seizing to operate. The other option that an organization may employ is seeking to improve its services or quality through communications with the right partners for the organization to survive. In addition, an organization may receive favorable feedback or even criticism that may prevent it from exiting its operations. However, if an organization receives overwhelming criticism by communicating its condition, there are greater chances of exiting from operations.

However it is important to note that a company’s loyalty in the market environment may affect its cost-benefit analysis. For instance a company that has positive brand loyalty by overwhelming section of its consumers can encourage the organization to try and improve. Conversely, a company facing poor brand reception and loyalty from the market may be encouraged to exit from play. In this case, consumer loyalty plays a big role in determining the direction that any company takes when facing decline challenges. The main reason why this happens is because their voices are normally heard and they shape the decisions that an organization embraces in the long run.

For any business organization to remain viable, effective and competitive, it should focus on its management processes. The most important role that any business leader can put into play in this process is being in apposition of managing the knowledge assets that is held by the employees. It is important for an organization to encourage effective communication through free flow and exchange of ideas and information in the daily business operations. This is an ideal strategy that targets key employees to function at their key areas hence employing competitive edge in the business.

Organizational momentum is improved by business leaders through developing effective technological infrastructural tools in the organization. This helps in linking employees and the entire organization to allow viable collaborations that are aimed at achieving business success. In this sense, information technology basically helps convert implicit knowledge into explicit knowledge that can be easily seen by the right persons in the organization.

In addition, information technology is fast, easy and most effective form of communication that can be easily made accessible to all employees in the organization. This means that management processes are made easier with advanced technology that helps create and develop human management software that is applicable to the specific needs of any organization.

Therefore, as the most effective tool of communication in the organization, technology provides a platform where the business leaders as well as the employees apply their management capital. This is determined by business leaders’ efforts of creating effective interpersonal relationships that exist in the organization.
