I strongly agree with your argument that we should view our clients in a holistic manner. I believe that viewing clients in a holistic manner to facilitate our understanding of them and also enables us to understand their needs better. This argument is consistent with the physiological view by Wilcock and Hocking (2015) about the holistic nature of the body having a natural biological rhythm. At the same time, I think the holistic view promotes our objectivity in our quest to understand and assist the client. Therefore, I feel that we should consider the physical, the mental and the social issues from a holistic view about an individual.

Your argument about the two schools of thought about the impact of the environmental changes creates a practical view of understanding the relationship between our bodies and the environment. I agree with your view that civilization has corrupted the mind of a human being as well as the physical state. I think this effect is facilitated by the deviation of our bodies from the natural balance. Also, I believe civilization has drawn the human beings from the aspect of being in balance with the environment by creating an imbalance between the social, mental and physical aspects.

I also tend to agree with the authors that the Physical, mental and social issues are important to the collaboration between biological rhythms and homeostasis. This is because each of these three integrates to create a balance between them in a manner that a healthy person operates in full coordination. According to Jones (2000), our bodies do not act well or achieve full homeostasis if there is an imbalance between the body and the environment. Therefore, I think we all agree with the authors of the textbook.
